Zechariahs Prophecy

God has created each one of us for special purpose and that purpose God shall reveal in his time and fulfilled it. In today’s gospel passage God has revealed his plan of salvation to Zechariah. This Zechariah when angel Gabriel visited him and shared the good news he doubted  the message and failed to understood the plan of Gods. Angel Gabriel struck him  and he remained dumb until the proclaimed message come true. When the promised message full filled in his life he took the miraculous baby in his arms and praised God. He was filled with holy spirit and his mouth opened and his heart pour out a Joyous melody about the incarnation of the son of God and the mission of John the Baptist.

Like Zechariah, many times we too failed to understand gods plan in our life and pushed to waiting period until the messages come true. Even His chosen people Unfaithful or doubted His promises, God remain faithful and accomplish His plan in our life. Lets examine our conscience where I am standing in my faith? What make me to doubt the god promise in my life? am i spiritually blind to see the promises of God? am i reluctant to accept the Gods plan? Like Zechariah recognize His presence and welcome Him into our heart
