Reflection on the Gospel of the TuesdayIn The Seventh Week Of Easter(Feast: The Visitation of The Blessed Virgin Mary) |
Luke 1:39-56 |
Blessed is she who said Yes to God, she opened the gate of God’s graces for all humanity. And humanity needs to imitate Mary in saying yes to God.
She is the Second Eve as scripture states, if the first turned her back on God by disobedience, Mary with her yes, totally surrendered to God’s Love. His Love which would hold her high as she encountered all the possible problems and difficulties because of this Yes. Her yes was not that singular yes when the Angel stood before her, but every moment of her life. And she needed to live her life in this Yes. Even her visit to Elizabeth is a reflection of her Yes to God, the Love of God which had become incarnate in her womb.
We too need to approach God and say Yes to Him, to Him having his way in our lives. Our way/and life is definitely not going to be easy, but we must believe that He is forming in us just as he grew inside Mary.
Hail Mary! Full of Grace!
The Lord is with you {& therefore}
Blessed are you among Women {for}
Blessed is the fruit of you womb Jesus
