Jesus the True Vine

The meaning here is clear. Jesus is the Source of all true life, not only as the author/creator or all life, but also as everything has life which has Him, because he is the integral part of true life.

Since God is truth, and the Bible tells us about Him, what are we to understand when it shows God telling Adam and Eve, if they eat of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge they will die, yet they are not dead, upon eating of that fruit. We need to understand that we died spiritually. i.e. God now could not abide in us. Our fullness, i.e. God who completed us, could not remain in our lives, because Adam removed Him from his life, and thus we too our spiritually dead. Jesus is that God, and He completes us. So we need to attach ourselves to him, grafted into him, by inviting Him back into our lives, and remain/abide in Him.
