Reflection on the Gospel of the Saturday
|
Luke 20: 27-40 |
After the exile Israel people were lived like sheep without shepherd. During that period 2 groups of people raised and led the Israel 1) Sadducees who take care of ritual and sacrifice in the temple. 2) Pharisees who sits in the seat of Moses to instruct and guide people to reach God’s Kingdom. These people noticed that Jesus too teaching and preaching with authority, also many miracles and wonders took place wherever he goes., so many followers followed Jesus. In many occasion Jesus authority was questioned by these group of people and nobody trapped him in anything, as his teaching was perfect and led the people towards gods Kingdom.
Today’s Gospel passage too We can see that Jesus teaching was questioned by group of Sadducees, Jesus was very clear about his teaching and preaching. Jesus was very much clear about his mission and Gods plan for him so, with confident he politely answered them and clarify their doubt about resurrection. From Jesus answer we too clear that our life in this world in only a shadow or temporary whereas eternal life in heaven in permanent.
As children of God we too very vigilant and wise while answering anything to anyone. People of this world is very cunning and trap us easily, so friends be calm and clear about gods plan in your life. No one has power to change gods plan for us, Many people will come and divert our mind and heart and astray us from God. Be careful and hold on promises of Jesus at the time trials he will send His holy spirit to guide us. Never follow any group or any leader, which may misled us and move us far from god, instead follow the teaching of church and remain faithful to your call.
God bless each one of us!
