Reflection on the Gospel of the Saturday

Luke 16: 9-15 |
As we all are aware that all of us are living in a competitive world. Each and everyone desires to have healthy and wealthy lives. In order to achieve this each one of us are struggling very hard. Many times we fail to maintain a balance in our lives and get fully focused on earthly things. Once we become settled and become wealthy, then our needs becomes wants and we start running behind more worldly things, but all this work and success is temporary and limited to this world. For such temporary stuff we are working so very hard, then how much more should we to work to achieve things that are permanent. Jesus in today’s passage very clearly says “no servant can serve two master” Lets reflect on it.
A Servants aim is to make his master happy and in return he expects reward from his master. A master will be happy with the servant, who is faithful in his work, thus also share in some way in his wealth. If we become servants friends/siblings of Jesus and are faithful to him, He shares of himself in all eternity with us. It is our choice to choose with whom to work and how to work. Jesus never forces anyone to come to him. He has given us a freewill to choose our life and live accordingly. Even we choose to serve the world, Jesus will bless us and never condemn us. As human beings we cannot have a balanced life with the world and God. Lets decide to serve God and gain eternal life.
