Jesus Is Rejected by the Jews

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me;”

And I know them… This is the key to understanding today’s Gospel Reading. Jesus is saying only those who dare to desire and dare to pursue a relationship with God, will be rewarded with Relationship with God. Those who do not try are like the servant with the 1 Talent not doing anything and not getting anything.

To have abundant life is to have God as part of our life. He comes and completes our life, and shares His life with us.
