The Bible: The Power of Rebirth

Jesus’ Commandment: Love One Another As I Have Loved You

John 15:12-17

A Choice is made and a mission given.
Jesus gave us the unique commandment of ‘Love’ “Love one another as I have loved you!” He did not just say a sentence, but gave us a mission to love just as the Father loves him and he in turn loves us – unconditionally! He calls us his Friends and has given an example of selfless love even to the extent of laying down his life for us. We are called by Christ to be his witnesses throughout the World and spread the Word of God., through the very example of our lives, our words and our actions, trusting the Lord everyday as we set out to accomplish this task. We have numerous examples of Saints and living legends especially among our clergy and religious whom we can follow and carry on the good work. Are we willing to walk hand in hand with the Lord and live this commandment?
