Reflection on the Gospel of the Friday After Epiphany |
Luke 5:12-16 |
Continuing with the Theme of Epiphany Sunday, we see we are presented with an understanding. Jesus is the one who makes us clean! We are staying away from God because we have looked inward and looked with awkwardness what we have done to ourselves and the things around us. We have concluded, we are half life – good to stay on the fringe of society, in isolation. This maybe so, but it need not continue to be… Jesus is the Answer! He is the One who takes away the sin of the World. he is the one who purifies us, He is the One who makes us whole.
Come then, let us worship and bow down, “Lord if you are willing, You cane make me clean!”
“I am willing, be clean and whole!”
Now take hold of his hand and walk with Him.
