Belief is expressed in words and deeds, not denied

Jesus is very much aware about the challenges of the world and his mission to world. His disciples were living in comfort zone which Jesus want to break and come out of it. Jesus gave primary task to proclaim Gospel without any fear. As of now disciples did their mission with the help of Jesus power and authority now Jesus  knew that he is no longer with them so asking them to empowered with Holy spirit.

Jesus started his public ministry only after he was filled by holy spirit that is the reason he has done mighty deeds in the world. To face the challenges courageously Holy spirit is require. Even in disciples life they did amazing and marvellous deed only after receiving the holy spirit on Pentecost Day. A great harvest peter made on his first sermon ie 3000 people baptised and become Christian in early Christian community. With the help of holy spirit they spread wide, stand firm on their faith and bore witness in the world

We too are called to bear witness for Christ and received holy spirit in our baptism and confirmation sacrament. As long as we are in comfort zone we cannot grow in our life and cannot have plentiful harvest of soul.  Lets us filled with the power of holy spirit and proclaim Gospel.
