Abiding in Jesus’ Love

John 15:9-17

Jesus identifies himself as the source of Love  and Perfect Joy & only by abiding in him can we obtain the fulfilling nature of his commandment of Love.  As Christ says, through him, we also can be a source of  Joy to each other. When we interact with a child, the child is a source of joy and happiness which is a reflection of the love & nurturing given by the parents.  Like  the Child  we also reflect the Love of Christ to our  community, as members of one household.

He calls us as friends to have an open relationship with him of trust, love and respect with the common mission of spreading the Word of God and being fruitful. Are we willing to live this commandment of Love? With the  self – sacrificing  Love of Christ? As he says “Greater Love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends!
