Reflection on the Gospel
|
Matthew 24: 25-28, 37-44 |
This Gospel is reminding us of how we must be living our daily lives. Most of us are noosed in the cruelness of our everyday lives, and forget to understand what Jesus is truly asking from us. There are a myriad of temptations that can lead us down the wrong way, and turn us away from the path that God has paved for us. We should practice ourselves every day to pray and talk to God asking his help to say no to temptations, that affects our connection with him and the life he has planned for
us. Am I still aware with my desires and actions?
“The spirit of faith is a spirit that allows one to unite one’s actions to the ongoing saving action of God in the world.” We must be ready at all times by means of staying in the grace of God. Let us allow ourselves to be always healthy in body and in soul.
