Reflection on the Gospel of the Thursday

Luke 19: 41-44 |
Jesus wept, this was the time and era all were waiting for, the Saviour, Messiah was amongst them, He gave signs, He revealed his authority and power, gave teachings, worked miracles, yet they failed to recognize him.
Here Jesus sees their stubbornness in not wanting to change from their old ways, which will lead to the eventually destruction of Jerusalem, a city God choose for himself. Jesus is deeply sorrowful over this and warns them of the future situation. Today are we willing to accept Jesus? Are we willingly to check our own actions and ideas and confirm to the heart of Jesus-God. Are we aware of Emmanuel (God with us) – Jesus in our daily lives. Can we see his Presence and hear his voice today ? Are we willing to recognise his signs and wonders in our lives?
Holy Spirit help us to work along with you in your kingdom, protect us from all that is not of your kingdom.
