Reflection on the Gospel of the Tuesday
|
Luke 7:11-17 |
Jesus, in todays Gospel, we find bringing to life a young man of Nain, because he sees his mother crying inconsolably and has compassion on her. He can do that for us too. Jesus in no fiction or dream, or the healings and miracles he did were not something He wanted to do only when He was in Galilee. He is the the author of life and He can do this for us even today. But what would you value more, being restored to Spiritual Life, or Physical Life. Having physical life and to be away from God is being dead. Spiritual life is living with God, starting here and now, on this earth.
Pray to the author of life that He to come and reside in you and restore you to Full Life, with His presence in you. As Matthew 7:9-11 says, ‘God who is Father, how will he respond to his children who asks him for bread, will he give them a stone? Or if they asks for a fish, will he give them a serpent? If those who are evil, know how to give good gifts to their children, how much more will our Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him‘, especially if we ask Him to come and be part of our lives. Ask then, seek His presence in your life, keep knocking – he will come in and make His home in you.
