John 17:20-26
Jesus teaches us to Pray and prays for Everyone in the world. Jesus’ prayer is for the present, future and also for those in the past. Jesus prays for us that we may be in HIM before He can enter into his passion experience. Jesus prays that we may be united with him in all that we do and we experience the oneness that he experiences with his Father. When we reflect and compare our prayers and his prayer we realise how different and way apart our prayers are from his. Our prayers are filled with anxiety, stress, worries, demands, but in contrast Jesus’ pray is LOVE, self-giving, desire to give what is received, to accept. To give the Father’s glory to us, and to be with and in us always. Do we experience Jesus in us ? Do our action reveal that to us ? Let us be united in Faith and One in action.
Let us prayer to the Holy spirit for the gift of Unity in service and leadership.
