Reflection on the Gospel of the Seventeeth Sunday

The pearl of great price… what’s do you think it is? Where will you go to seek it? Are you going to make the effort to seek it? When you do find it, will you protect it?
The pearl of great price could be your gift of faith. A faith experience after a lot of struggle, has great value. Keeping up the faith, protecting it is another challenge.
Faith is protected by remaining in relationship with God. Praying, living the sacramental life and much more. Faith is a special gift that grows when shared with others. Walk your faith journey with the Lord bringing others along. A selfish faith that keeps the Lord only to oneself never grows and leads to stagnation.
So let us continue in our faith journey together, growing even in the midst of struggle. For it is in our struggle that we keep our faith active.
