Reflection on the Gospel of the Tuesday
|
Matthew 13: 36-43 |
God is nothing to do with condemnation. He after all is love. And love defines that there is always the option for redemption, and God gives it to us. Be we children by our actions/choice/living, of this world or of God, we still remain His, and He loves us with an equal and everlasting love. Judgement is what we call upon ourselves, by choosing to be away from God. Because when He who is eternal Wisdom is not with us/in us, to help us, then we keep on erring over and over again, and guilt then drives us away from Him.
Not even for a moment think of running away. As humans we will keep on making mistakes, but what we do after that is important. Yes Jesus highlights what is the result of us shutting God from our lives, but we need to also see His love for us, that even in sin/far from Him, He still loves us and does not pass judgement on us. He stretches His hands of forgiveness, His hands of love, and gives us the option to redeem ourselves, by choosing Him.
Pray to Jesus today, ask Him to help you see the Truth and help you remain in the Truth.
