Reflection on the Gospel of the Wednesday

Matthew 6: 1-6, 16-18 |
There are many ways to show our desire to God, to know Him and to get into a relationship with Him. Many times we run in circles, trying to discover God in our life. We do all sorts of things, but the fact is that He Is, here and now. We just need to stop doing all things we are doing and wait. he will come, maybe at His pace – we may think He is taking to long – but He seeks our all surrendered patience to want to know Him better. That is, we know there is nothing we want then Him in our life, and knowing that He will come, and we are ready to forego everything else for Him to come. Prayer, Fasting, Almsgiving are expressions of this yearning desire in our hearts, that He is important, nothing else. Reading scripture to get into a relationship is another of those expressions.
Seek Him, Knock, and Ask Him then, “Come Lord Jesus, Fill me with the awareness of your presence in me and around me, Teach me to love, like you.”
