Experts say, the book of Isaiah was written by 3 people, owing to the time span it covers. But even if written by 3 people, thematically the book is divided into two; chapters 1-39 and 40-66. The first speak out warnings, and the latter the promise of grace, redemption and glorification. Today’s First reading falls in the second part; and you will notice that God is conveying hope to a people in sin and bondage. Come He says, I have forgotten your sin, since I have forgiven you. Do you have guilt, doubt; give them up, read today’s First reading invites you into a New Life in God.
In the Gospel reading Jesus, Jesus saves/heals the Officials’ servant by just His words. Can You believe Jesus can do this for you, and is willing to do this for you, and right now saying this to you… Believe and go you way, for Jesus has already saved/healed you. When you do come across the moment when you discover God’s intervention in your life, in your past to save you. Stop, praise God and give your life to Him totally like the official…
