With Jesus’ Incarnation, God pitched His tent with us. To put it differently, He has for good, come to dwell among us, as He so always desired. So if He came to reside with us, where Is He now? Among us, in the Father’s Presence. And the very presence of God is Heaven/Kingdom of God. And we do access God’s presence in a definite way in the Eucharist. So also, we can strive to believe and make real God’s Presence in and around us, by Believing, and Living accordingly. The more we live believing, the more God’s Presence becomes physically visible around us.

God in Jesus pursued those two dejected and  hope lost travellers to Emmaus. And now even as they return back and announce having met Jesus, they in turn pass hope and belief to the others. The also now Believe, and Jesus becomes a reality for them, and now they can see Him in their midst.

Peter and John, sensed Jesus directing their gaze to the crippled man. And they became the channel of God’s grace and Good News. So also, as we believe, we make Jesus known to those around, by our very living. If there is unbelief, then what we are passing to those around are mixed signals, and there is no scope for those around us to believe. Believing means living what we believe. We, this season, proclaim Our Saviour Lives, let that be our way of life, the basis of how we live and behave and interact with those around. Would you argue the fare with the vegetable vendor, since Jesus is standing next to you? Will you have a frown, because you don’t have that extra money, since you know Jesus is standing next to you? When you know this, and therefore the joyous and generous way you interact with yourself and those around is what believing is.

Believe!

Bible Verse For Today
