Jesus during His lifetime spoke of Himself as the sustainer of life. Some believed, some could not comprehend and of those some left, while others opposed Him. Whatever be the case, now we know Jesus to be alive and in our midst. Do we believe today? or do we want more proof, more experience, more surety?
whatever be the case, we can handle this in two ways, stand away from, Him and think over the situation, and oppose Him. But if you come before Him ad speak to Him your doubts, and uncertainties, then you are like the man who said to Jesus, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”
The thing to take away from today’s Gospel is that, God does not despise our doubts and fears, etc, He wants us to come to Him and relate to Him as our father, share our lives with Him, and remain with Him.
