Go and proclaim to the world the Good News

The Good News is that God has been faithful. The promise He made to Adam and Eve, He has accomplished, we can now come back from our exile, and return to the presence of God. All this is achieved through God’s Love, poured out on us through His Son Jesus and His Sacrifice on the Cross.

So if we have access to the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit, what should be our mindset…? Should we be groveling, being petty, selfish, insecure. Rather we should be assured, confident, unafraid, share without restrain, etc. Why? because we are in God’s presence, here and now, and that means we have access to His riches, grace, mercy, protection, love. And when God is with us, why do we need to be afraid of anything, for we are secure. This is the attitude we need to have and  others should see in us. This attitude is born of conviction of the truth that we are in God’s presence. If He is here and now and with us, we have everything and we can rejoice, because even as we face life, we are yet living victoriously, with Jesus besides us. And when the people around us see this, they will want this. We will be the living proofs for people to trust Jesus and give their lives in His hands.

On the other hand if we proclaim with our lips, but our attitude is something else, we are not offering people proof to believe in Jesus, because our lips will be saying one thing and our lives saying that we are not filly trusting in Jesus. How will others then believe. Today our lives are like this, me included, we speak and proclaim the Gospel Truth, but don’t know what it means to live with Jesus besides us. We live as if we are afraid of tomorrow, and therefore try to manage our lives and resources with selfishness at the center of our lives.

Today reflect on what it would mean to live with Jesus next to you… and when you fail, ask Him to help you correct things and do the right things…

Bible Verse For Today

Alleluia, alleluia. We proclaim Christ crucified;he is the power of God and the wisdom of God. Alleluia, alleluia.
