Holiness/Righteousness is all about being in a right relationship with God. It is not something we can achieve, but something we can aspire for. And when we open our lives and heart to God, and he comes in. This is Righteousness and Holiness. It is the result of having God in our lives. The other very important aspect of holiness, is the acknowledgement of our state of life, our failures etc – i.e. coming before God as we are, and not making an excuse and running away from God/pushing God away from our lives, like Adam/Eve.

Come as you are, come everyday, turn to Him in every moment of your life, in your winning, in your losing, in your dejection and in your joy. And when you find Him in your life, hold on to Him, like the Pearl of Great Price.
