Todays readings are wonderful to use for introspection and to reflect on God’s love for us.

The though that was brought to my mind, even I listened to them at Mass, was that we are all prodigals, we, everyone of us have gone astray, Some recognise this, but do not want to do anything about it. Then there are those who do not understand they are astray. Finally, those who know they are astray and seek to be home. But do we know the way home. I myself totally do not know the way home, i.e. by myself. But I do know Jesus to be the Home. So I invited Jesus to come and make His home in me.
