The Baptism of the Lord Jesus – The Christ
The First Reading starts with telling us the Suffering Servant prophecy of Isaiah. It echoes of God’s pleasure in the Suffering Servant. This Servant humble, will suffer, readily and accept everything, for the sake of God’s great love; humanity.
