Reflection on the Gospel

Matthew 3: 1-12 |
Today’s Gospel focuses on the Ministry of John the Baptist, who was preparing the way for Jesus. We too are called to prepare for the coming of Jesus. Repent! is John’s message. Change your hearts! We know we need to change, but we can’t do it on our own. We must ask God’s help, insistently. Baptism is the most important event of our lives. We were reborn to eternal life and we promised to believe in God, renounce sin, and to serve God faithfully. Let us renew our commitment today.
